April 27, 2009, Los Angeles, CA Mojix®, Inc. announced today availability of the Mojix provider for Microsoft BizTalk Server 2009. The provider, a software driver, enables the Mojix STAR™ system to work seamlessly in conjunction with BizTalk Server 2009, enabling customers to effectively access and process RFID data to enhance business applications. Microsoft BizTalk Server RFID is a device management and event processing platform that facilitates compatibility of RFID hardware with other software programs. Its ‘plug-and-play’ functionality enables businesses to get RFID systems up and running quickly and efficiently.
“The BizTalk Server user-friendly platform helps organizations harness the vast amount of high quality data and information captured by the Mojix STAR system and incorporate it into multiple applications for improved efficiency across their entire business,” said Robert Kowalik, VP Sales, Mojix, Inc. “We look forward to working with Microsoft to enable our mutual customers to obtain new levels of supply chain and asset visibility and apply that information to drive enhanced business processes.”
The Mojix STAR™ system is a revolutionary UHF passive RFID system that brings unprecedented levels of precision, scalability and return-on-investment to radio frequency identification applications. The Mojix STAR system uses advanced digital signal processing and a flexible new RFID systems architecture to deliver expanded utility and value to RFID deployments. The ability to read passive RFID tags over long range, determine tag location,
and secure and authenticate tag data in one multi-faceted, multiple purpose system changes the economics of RFID. The Mojix system taps the performance features of active RFID with the more attractive economics of low cost passive RFID.
“Mojix brings new capabilities to passive RFID solutions in conjunction with BizTalk Server 2009,” said Darrell Cavens, director of product management for BizTalk Server at Microsoft Corp. “Together, BizTalk Server 2009 and Mojix help customers capture and act on valuable information, thereby creating a more effective supply chain and asset-tracking solution for a broad range of industries.”
