Mojix eGroups - This new technology addresses one of the biggest barriers to more reliable performance of passive RFID systems: the previously unsolved challenge of reading 100% of tags on RF-challenged goods. Mojix eGroup utilizes source and channel coding to solve this problem and obtain a set of tag data that can be used by the STAR system to provide electronic proof of delivery, tag authentication and new levels of security, anti-counterfeiting and privacy.
Precision Location - The STAR utilizes classical, fully active, phased array antennas for enabling visibility into the space dimension. The smart antenna approach provides very high resolution for estimation of direction of arrival of signals, enabling the system to provide accurate location information on tag positions in three dimensional space.
Security and authentication - Mojix eGroup technology eliminates the possibility of theft or misuse of RFID data, allowing only authorized users to decipher and interpret collected data. At the same time, it provides proof of origin and proof against counterfeiting and fraudulent manipulation of goods.
Interference Excision - The STAR receiver is designed to detect and mitigate the RF interference that challenges numerous RFID environments. Unlike conventional techniques for avoiding or tolerating interference, it does so without degrading overall system performance through its advanced antenna array design, ability to fully steer the beam pattern, and by tapping the inherent capabilities of the Mojix STAR architecture.
