Conduct research into signal processing and estimation, including optimization and wireless communication. Develop novel algorithm solutions and implementations for a new generation of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) product solutions. Perform top level and detail simulation and system characterization. Maintain simulation experiment database. Position requires a Ph.D. or equivalent in electrical engineering or computer science.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions
- Strong understanding of common estimation techniques, including theoretical analysis as well as data driven techniques is required
- Experience in Java, C++, SQL is desired
- Understanding of Linux operating systems and development environments is desired
- Analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to think analytically and create efficient solutions to complex problems
Minimum Qualifications
- MS Computer Science, minimum 10 years experience
- PhD Electrical Engineering, minimum 4 years experience with above essential skills
