The Sr. Hardware Design Engineer is responsible for all aspects of hardware development within an embedded systems environment. The individual will support multiple activities including requirements definition; provide architecture, design capture, PCB layout, board testing and debug, documenting, mentoring and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and test of new embedded hardware
- A strong background in analog and digital circuit design or power supply design
- Knowledge of microprocessor based design
- Experience with Schematic capture tools
- Support and enhance existing embedded hardware
- Hands on experience with electronics troubleshooting and repair
- Analyze requirements and develop design alternatives
- Generate complete and accurate user and design documentation
- Perform design verification of products
- Contribute to the release of manufacturing technical data packages for products
- Provide task breakdowns and accurate estimates for project planning
Electronics Development Engineer Skills Required to be considered:
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in electronics design and development
