Responsible for design, development and maintenance of Quality system throughout the company reporting to Sr. VP. Operations. Experienced in Process Improvement, Analyzing Information, Strategic Planning, Verbal Communication, Quality Engineering, Emphasizing Excellence, Attention to Detail, Thoroughness and Dealing with Complexity. This position requires close interaction between operations, engineering, marketing, field support and suppliers. Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods. Extensive knowledge and experience with ISO9000 Quality system is a must.
Responsibilities
- Management of ISO9001 Quality system
- Provides necessary definition, development and deployment of product quality assurance strategy, addressing all phases of product development
- Establish and maintain policy for documentation of all products
- Implements ongoing quality improvement processes working with interdepartmental teams
- Develop and manage quality assurance metrics for performance improvement of all teams
- Analyze field data and takes corrective action, escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve commitments
- Manages the planning and execution of product testing efforts, including all associated resources to meet committed delivery dates
Desired Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a High Tech environment in Quality and ISO9000 environment
- BS degree in Electrical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering preferred
- Experience with Wireless and Networking infrastructure preferred
- Knowledge of Printed Circuit Board Assembly and IPC
- Effective time management, organization and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities to grasp the key points from complicated details and produce reports
- Good leadership capabilities to lead projects to successful completion
