Signal Processing & Computer Research ScientistConduct research into signal processing and information science, including digital circuit design and optimization, wireless communications, computer arithmetic, reconfigurable computing (FPGA), and video image processing. Develop novel algorithm solutions and implementations for a new generation of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) readers. Perform top level and detail simulation and system characterization, using C, as well as hardware descriptive language (i.e. Verilog). Maintain simulation experiment database. Position requires a Ph.D. or equivalent in electrical engineering or computer science and at least one year of work experience.
Embedded Software Engineer
Software engineer with 3-5 years experience in the design and development of embedded software. Candidate should have experience with board bring-up, real-time operating systems, and embedded processor architectures. MSEE or MSCS is required.
The candidate should have working knowledge RTOS kernels, and of networking protocols, device drivers, and peripheral device handling as applicable to a typical embedded real-time system. Experience with embedded Linux development is Required.
Senior Software Engineer
Senior software Engineer with 5-10 years experience in the design, architecture and development of middleware. Proficient in standard languages/protocols, including, C++, JAVA. Understands web services (SOAP, XML, WSDL). Candidate should be comfortable with a Linux based development environment. Experience in server-client networking protocol in addition to demonstrated proficiency in object-oriented software design is desired. MSEE or MSCS is required.
Senior Software Engineer
Senior software Engineer with 5-10 years experience in coding Java (C++ desired). Database experience required. Experience on protocol design and implementations strongly desired. J2EE strongly desired. Experience with server-side development a plus, such as PHP and client-side such as HTML/AJAX. A BSEE/MSEE or BSCS/MSCS is required.
Junior software Engineer
Junior software Engineer with 3-5 years experience and proficient in standard languages including C++, and JAVA. Experience in Linux development required. BSEE or BSCS is required.
QA/Software Engineer
QA/Software engineer with 2-3 years experience in creating test plans for software, executing plans, testing, release management, and version control is required. Experience with embedded Linux systems is desired BSEE/MSEE or MSEE/MSCS is required.
DSP engineer
DSP engineer: The responsibilities include algorithm development, analysis, bit-true simulation (C based), verification (ie design and timing), as well as implementation using Verilog or VHDL on FPGA, or DSP. Programming knowledge of Matlab, C and C++. Minimum MS is required to qualify for this opening with five years of industrial experience required for this position. Experience in comm. signal processing is a must.
Junior Digital HW engineer
Digital hardware design engineer with 2+ years experience in digital hardware and Verilog HDL, and familiarity with using FPGA and processors. Experience in high speed circuit design is a must. Experience with basic analog design, use of OrCad Capture (for netlisting PCBs), Xilinx ISE, and Cadence NCsim / Mentor ModelSim is desirable. BS in engineering is required MS is a plus.
